Atmogat is an artistcollective and consists of the two guys Toni Polkwoski and Danny Prusseit from Berlin. After years of being deejeays both decided to give up deejeaying and to produce their own electronic music. 2001 they came together and founded the Atmogat project. As they started to create electronic music their productions were more Techno focused, but with the years they figured out their passion for IDM, Industrial and Electronica. Therefore, their most important influences are called Einoma, Autechre, Bola, Huron and Radiohead. Both of them are co-founder of the internetportal Schattenelektronik.de which was founded in 2003. Schattenelektronik.de offers other artists for examples painters, musicians, photographers etc. the possibility to show their art with the help of a website. Actually it`s even more than just an internetportal. Schattenelektronik is a crew of girls and boys who also organize exhibitions focusing modern subcultural art and great underground partys here in Berlin.

In the year 2004 both founded the label Trachanik. The idea which is concealed behind the name Trachanik is to transfer mechanical processes into sounds, animations, pictures and short films. The label and its headquarter is based in Berlin. Trachanik Records is a hybrid label and prefered styles are IDM, Industrial, Electronica and Techno.
