Pureape write and produce electronic/pop songs and perform in the underground music scene. After having released the mini album 'some music' on the London based label Matchbox recordings and after having given away for free some sexy and clinical tracks on Alpinechic, The Apes finally produced their debut full-length album 'very dirty'. Due to numerous live appearances in some of the best swiss music clubs and their passionate love for motorik beats, synthetic songwriting, distorted guitars and pop harmonies, pureape developed a distinctively and unique sound between minimal electronica and sophisticated electro-rock in pop format. The 2nd studio album 'screenplay' has been released on march 2007.
